What is a PGR?

PGR stands for Plant Growth Regulator. A synonym might be Plant Hormone.

Are they all the same? The quick answer is NO.

Some growers think of PGR’s only as stopping vertical plant growth (height) but PGR’s control various things such as rooting, flowering, senescence (plant termination) and plant defense.

Do PGR’s need to be registered-YES. Some PGR’s are only designed for floral or nursery crops and are carcinogenic and not meant for consumable crops like cannabis. PGR’s need to be registered in both the US or Canada before they can legally be sold.

Does Diablo have PGR products? Yes we have Alpha Rooting Gel, Stunt Monster, Push and Guardian.
